What’s the difference between the 2% and 3% GHK-Cu Skin Cell Restorative Serum? Is the 3% only for post-procedure use?
Both of our beautiful blue Skin Cell Restorative Serums feature the powerful peptide GHK-Cu (99.7% purity). GHK-Cu is a bioregulator peptide that works at a cellular level to boost collagen and elastin production, resulting in smoother, firmer, more resilient skin.
Both serums share the same supporting ingredients:
- Peptide Palmitoyl Tripeptide 1: Promotes skin firmness and elasticity.
- Giant Sea Kelp: Packed with antioxidants and minerals to hydrate and soothe.
- Hyaluronic Acid: A powerful humectant that attracts and holds moisture, plumping the skin.
The only difference is the GHK-Cu concentration. The 3% serum contains 50% more GHK-Cu than the 2%.

Our 2% serum is perfect for those new to GHK-Cu (copper peptides) or with highly sensitive skin. It's still a higher concentration than most copper peptide products on the market. Many Vitali customers begin with the 2% and then graduate to the 3% or keep both on hand for different needs.
Why are Vitali GHK-Cu products blue?
The distinctive blue color comes from the natural chemical reaction between the tripeptide GHK and copper ions. As our chemist explains, “The blue color is due to the light energy emitted from the excited electrons in copper, showing that it has synergized with the peptide to become bioactive.”
GHK acts as a carrier, helping copper ions penetrate your skin effectively. This bond stabilizes the copper and increases its bioavailability, making it easier for your skin to absorb and use.
